Rajesh Joshi has taken charge as Chief Business Officer – New Businesses at Pidilite Industries Limited, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on growth through subsidiaries, joint ventures, and mergers & acquisitions.
Based in Mumbai, Rajesh Joshi will oversee Pidilite Industries’ existing and proposed subsidiaries and joint ventures in India and overseas, while also evaluating strategic M&A opportunities to support long-term expansion, portfolio diversification, and sustainable value creation.
With over three decades of leadership experience, Rajesh brings deep cross-sector expertise spanning consumer goods, building materials, telecom, and retail. Most recently, he served as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Everest Industries Limited, where he led the successful transformation of the listed building materials company and strengthened its growth platform.
Earlier in his career, Rajesh Joshi held several key leadership roles at Pidilite Industries, including President – Strategic Initiatives and President – Consumer Products (MNT). He also served as Chief Executive Officer of ICA Pidilite, the company’s joint venture with Italy-based ICA, where he played a pivotal role in establishing its first manufacturing facility outside Italy.
His professional journey also includes senior roles at Bharti Airtel, Future Group, and Asian Paints, further strengthening his credentials in business transformation, strategic growth, and operational leadership.
Rajesh Joshi’s appointment underscores Pidilite Industries’ intent to accelerate growth across new business platforms under experienced leadership, as the company continues to explore opportunities beyond its core segments.
