Technico Industries Ltd, a Gurugram‑based manufacturer of automotive components and Tier‑1 supplier to major OEMs, has appointed Amit Pandey as its Chief Executive Officer. The leadership change comes as the company positions itself for accelerated growth amid India’s automotive sector transformation, driven by electrification, supply chain localisation, and rising OEM standards.
Pandey brings extensive experience across manufacturing, operations, supply chain strategy, and business turnarounds. He previously served as CEO of Orient Cables, where he streamlined operations and strengthened market positioning. His earlier roles at Exicom Tele Systems, PINCAP, and Tikona Infinet focused on scaling operations, enhancing profitability, and driving organisational efficiency in competitive technology and infrastructure sectors.
With over five decades of engineering expertise, Technico specialises in precision sheet metal components, chassis assemblies, body structures, fine blanking parts, and engineered sub‑assemblies. The company’s advanced stamping operations and in‑house tooling capabilities support long‑term partnerships with leading automotive OEMs navigating the shift toward electric vehicles and global supply chain realignments.
Arun Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, welcomed Pandey, noting the company is at a defining growth stage where his leadership will strengthen strategic direction and operational excellence. Amit Gupta, Joint Managing Director, highlighted Pandey’s industry knowledge as key to accelerating growth, improving manufacturing efficiencies and exploring new opportunities in the evolving automotive landscape.
Industry observers see the appointment as a timely positioning for Technico to expand responsibly and compete effectively as India integrates deeper into global automotive supply networks.
