Max Healthcare Institute Limited will acquire a 58.4% stake in Kalinga Hospital Limited for approximately ₹300 crore from Hospital Corporation of Orissa Inc.
Located in Bhubaneswar’s Maitri Vihar, the 250-bed NABH-accredited hospital spans nearly 2.6 lakh sq. ft. and offers multi-specialty care across neurology, cardiology, orthopaedics, oncology, and renal sciences. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostics including a 128-slice CT scanner, MRI systems, and a cath lab.

With this acquisition, Max Healthcare will expand its network beyond its strong presence in North India. The company currently operates around 20 facilities with over 5,000 beds across regions including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Lucknow, Nagpur, Mohali, and Dehradun.
