Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed Madhu Nair as its Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 28 years of experience across the financial services and asset management industry.
Nair has held senior leadership positions at HSBC Asset Management, Invesco, Kotak Mutual Fund and Kothari Pioneer Mutual Fund. Before joining Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management, he served as CEO of Union Mutual Fund.
In his new role, Nair will focus on strengthening the fund house’s business, driving strategic growth and creating long-term value for investors. His extensive experience in building and scaling businesses and his investor-centric approach are expected to support the firm’s growth strategy.
The appointment comes as Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management looks to build a stronger, more resilient and future-ready asset management business in India’s evolving mutual fund landscape.
