Mankind Pharma has appointed Aparajita Nandita Raychaudhuri as Senior Vice President and Head of API Sales and Marketing, marking a new leadership development within the company’s active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) business.
In her new role, Raychaudhuri will lead the sales and marketing function for APIs, which are the key components responsible for the therapeutic effects of pharmaceutical medicines. Her responsibilities will centre on the commercial function of the API business.
The API segment plays an important role in the pharmaceutical industry by supplying essential ingredients used in the manufacture of medicines. Sales and marketing leadership in this segment is critical to developing business relationships and supporting market expansion.
Raychaudhuri’s appointment adds to Mankind Pharma’s leadership as the company continues its operations across the pharmaceutical sector.
