ArcelorMittal Global Business & Technologies has appointed Saurabh Kumar as Head of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE). In his new role, he will focus on strengthening the organisation’s enterprise cloud capabilities, advancing cloud transformation, and developing resilient, scalable and cost-efficient technology infrastructure aligned with business objectives.
Kumar brings expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure engineering and technology leadership. Before joining ArcelorMittal GBT, he served as Distinguished Architect at Altimetrik, where he worked across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, FinOps and site reliability engineering (SRE) initiatives.
His professional experience also includes technology and engineering roles at BT Group, HealthEdge, Visa, Capgemini, Cognizant and Wipro. He also co-founded KridaFans and served as its CTO, contributing to product strategy, technical architecture and platform growth.
With this appointment, Kumar will draw on his experience in cloud engineering and technology strategy to support enterprise cloud modernisation and build technology foundations that meet evolving business needs.
