Abhishek Sengupta has been appointed as Head – Product, Sales & Distribution for Trade, Forex, and Business Banking (TFX, BBB) at RBL Bank. With over two decades of rich experience in the banking and financial services sector, Abhishek brings deep expertise in trade finance, forex management, and business banking strategy.
In his new role, he will lead RBL Bank’s initiatives to strengthen its trade and forex proposition, enhance client engagement, and drive innovation across business banking services. His leadership is expected to play a key role in advancing the bank’s digital and customer-focused transformation.
Before joining RBL Bank, Abhishek spent over nine years with YES BANK, where he served as Group Executive Vice President and Zonal Head, managing product strategy, sales, and fintech collaborations. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Citi and HSBC, focusing on business growth, client relationship management, and leadership development.
Abhishek’s appointment reflects RBL Bank’s continued focus on expanding its trade and business banking ecosystem through innovation, technology, and customer-centric solutions.
