BLS International Services Ltd., a global outsourcing and technology partner for governments and diplomatic missions, has appointed Golok Kumar Simli as its President for Technology and Innovation.
Simli, who previously served as Principal Advisor and Chief Technology Officer of the Passport Seva Programme at the Ministry of External Affairs, will lead the company’s technology strategy and innovation agenda.
At MEA, he spearheaded key digital initiatives such as Passport Seva 2.0 and the rollout of e-passports, integrating biometrics, AI, and data analytics into service delivery. These initiatives transformed passport services by enhancing security, efficiency, and accessibility across India and Indian missions abroad.
In his new role at BLS International, Simli will focus on strengthening the company’s position as a technology-driven global service provider across visa, passport, consular, and citizen services.
An engineering graduate from BIT Sindri, Simli also holds a Master’s in Data Science from Chandigarh University, along with advanced credentials in business strategy, information security, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence.
