Shri Chandra Sekhar Kumar, IAS (Odisha 1992), presently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
This arrangement will be in effect from 23rd August 2025 to 31st August 2025, during the leave of Shri Nikunja Bihari Dhal, IAS (Odisha 1993), who ordinarily holds the post.
A 1992-batch officer of the Odisha cadre, Shri Chandra Sekhar Kumar is a seasoned administrator with extensive experience in governance, policymaking, and implementation across both state and central levels. His current leadership at the Ministry of Minority Affairs, combined with his wide-ranging administrative expertise, makes him well-suited to oversee the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry during this interim period.
