The Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced a reorganization of key administrative responsibilities for Deepak Kumar, IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1990), who is presently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Finance, Uttar Pradesh, with additional charge of ACS, Institutional Finance, and ACS, External Aided Project Department, among other roles.
He has been relieved of the additional charges of Commissioner – Secondary Education and Commissioner – Basic Education. Concurrently, he has been assigned additional responsibilities including Commissioner – Infrastructure & Industrial Development Department (IIDC), Chairman – Pradeshiya Industrial & Investment Corporation (PIC UP), CEO – Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), ACS – UP Civil Aviation, ACS – Coordination Department, and Project Director – UP Diversified Agriculture Support Project (DASP).
This reassignment reflects the government’s continued efforts to streamline administrative oversight and enhance governance across multiple departments.
