The Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the transfer and posting of Dr. Roshan Jacob, IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2004), currently serving as Divisional Commissioner – Lucknow. He has been appointed as Secretary – Food Safety & Drug Administration and Commissioner – Food Safety & Drug Administration, Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Jacob has a distinguished administrative career spanning over two decades, with experience across diverse sectors including governance, public health, and district administration. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening the state’s food safety regulations, ensuring compliance, and promoting initiatives to safeguard public health.
Commenting on his new assignment, Dr. Jacob expressed his commitment to leveraging his experience to enhance food safety standards and regulatory practices across Uttar Pradesh.
