HDFC Pension has announced the appointment of Ravindra Pingle as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), bringing over 19 years of deep expertise in information security, cybersecurity, and risk management to the organization.
Prior to joining HDFC Pension, Mr. Pingle served as Head of Information Security at Lyra, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s cyber resilience. His career spans significant leadership positions, including a long tenure at FIS, where he rose from Information Security Manager to Senior Manager, driving compliance with PCI DSS, PCI PIN, ISO standards, and leading Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives.
Mr. Pingle has also held key IT security and compliance positions at NIIT Technologies Limited, TVSNET Technologies (supporting Wipro BPO and SBI Life with ISO 27001 compliance), and managed information security operations at Integreon.
His extensive skill set includes vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, incident response, vendor management, and quality process implementation. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to safeguard critical infrastructure, implement robust governance frameworks, and lead audit and regulatory compliance efforts.
At HDFC Pension, Mr. Pingle will be instrumental in strengthening information security governance, advancing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards, further reinforcing the organization’s commitment to digital trust and operational resilience.
