Veeam Software, a leading global provider of data protection and cyber resilience solutions, has named Kushagra Sharma as Director – Marketing for India and SAARC.
In his new role, Sharma will lead regional marketing strategies aimed at supporting enterprises and government organizations in their data protection, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity journeys, while further strengthening Veeam’s presence as a trusted technology partner in India and neighboring markets.
Sharma joined Veeam in December 2022 as Head of Marketing, India & SAARC, where he contributed to expanding brand visibility and shaping outreach initiatives for the company’s data management solutions.
With more than 20 years of cross-industry experience in marketing, technology, and sales, Sharma has worked extensively on growth programs and digital-first initiatives. His professional background includes senior positions at Citrix, VMware, Micro Focus, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and IBM, where he focused on go-to-market execution, partner collaboration, and customer engagement strategies.
An alumnus of UCLA Anderson School of Management and IIM Bangalore, he also founded 505 Circle, a platform dedicated to showcasing changemakers through storytelling, podcasts, and thought leadership.
