The Central Government has appointed M. Arvind, IAS, as the new Director in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
An officer with strong administrative credentials, Arvind’s appointment is expected to strengthen DPIIT’s role in driving policy reforms, promoting ease of doing business, and supporting India’s industrial growth.
As Director, he will be closely involved in initiatives aimed at enhancing investment opportunities, boosting start-up ecosystems, and fostering innovation-led economic development.
