Parth Gupta IAS (Haryana, 2013 batch) has taken on a broader administrative portfolio in the state, stepping into senior positions across both the sports and tourism sectors. He has been assigned the role of Director – Sports, Haryana, along with the responsibilities of Special Secretary, Sports Department.
Alongside this, he will also handle the additional charge of Director – Tourism, Special Secretary – Tourism Department, and Managing Director – Haryana Tourism Corporation Limited.
Gupta, who has been serving as Deputy Commissioner of Yamunanagar, will now oversee strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Haryana’s sports ecosystem and advancing its tourism agenda. His new mandate places him at the centre of policy planning, departmental coordination, and programme implementation across two high-priority sectors for the state government.
