Risun Antony, a seasoned cybersecurity and technology leader with over two decades of cross-domain experience, has taken over as Director, Cortex Domain Consulting at Palo Alto Networks. He will focus on solution engineering and advanced security architecture as organisations accelerate digital transformation.
In his new role, Antony will lead high-performing teams to design and deliver enterprise-scale security solutions, helping customers strengthen cyber resilience across cloud, data, and AI-driven environments. His work will centre on aligning security strategy with business outcomes while supporting large-scale adoption of modern security platforms.
Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks, Antony spent more than a decade at Microsoft, where he held multiple senior roles across cybersecurity, solution sales, and technology strategy. Most recently, he served as Director, Technical Specialists – Cybersecurity, leading enterprise engagements around Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel SIEM, Entra ID, and Purview. Earlier in his career, he worked with organisations such as Cisco Systems and CSC, building deep expertise across banking, manufacturing, IT services, and digital-native environments.
