VIBS Infosol has announced the appointment of Vikas Khandelwal as its Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In his dual role, he will lead the company’s IT strategy, oversee security operations, manage compliance, and drive innovation in cybersecurity across multiple service lines, including Security Program Management, vCISO services, Regulatory Compliance, SOC/NOC delivery, and Cloud Security.
With over 20 years of cross-industry experience spanning BFSI, Healthcare, IT/ITES, Manufacturing, and Government, Khandelwal has successfully executed large-scale IT infrastructure design, enterprise-wide security programs, SOC implementation, cloud modernization, and compliance with global standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
Before joining VIBS Infosol, he held senior leadership positions in IT and security, building scalable and compliant technology ecosystems. He is also a highly credentialed cybersecurity professional, holding certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCISO, CISA, CEH, and ISO 27001:2022 Lead Auditor & Implementer.
At VIBS Infosol, Khandelwal will play a pivotal role in scaling the cybersecurity division, strengthening delivery centers in Mumbai and Indore, and aligning the company’s operations with its vision of fostering a resilient partner ecosystem. His appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to enabling clients worldwide to address evolving security challenges with confidence.
