Rishi Gupta has been reappointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fino Payments Bank, effective May 2, 2026, subject to approvals from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the bank’s shareholders.
A founding member of Fino PayTech Limited, Gupta brings over 31 years of experience in financial services and leadership. He has previously served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Fino PayTech, where he played a key role in establishing robust governance and operational frameworks.
Under his leadership, Fino Payments Bank became the first payments bank in India to be listed on the stock exchanges, marking a significant milestone for the sector. His reappointment underscores the board’s confidence in his strategic direction and continued leadership.
