Sandoz Appoints Aarti A Kapoor as Head – People & Organisation for Region International

Sandoz has appointed Aarti A Kapoor as Head – People & Organisation Operations for Region International, strengthening the company’s global HR leadership across international markets.

In her new role, Kapoor will oversee people and organisation operations across a highly complex international region spanning more than 50 countries and 16 time zones.

Leading Global People Operations

Aarti A Kapoor will focus on driving seamless global collaboration, enhancing employee experience, and building scalable people operations aligned with Sandoz’s mission of expanding access to affordable medicines worldwide.

The appointment comes during what Sandoz Global Chief People Officer Tripti Jha has described as the company’s “Golden Decade,” reflecting the organization’s continued focus on operational expansion and workforce transformation.

More Than Two Decades of HR Leadership Experience

Kapoor brings over 20 years of experience across:

  • HR operations
  • Shared services
  • Employee experience
  • HR transformation
  • Workforce management
  • Digital HR systems
  • Organisational change initiatives

Before joining Sandoz, she served as Director – Global HR Operations & Service Delivery at McDonald’s.

She also briefly held the position of Vice President – People Enablement & Service Delivery at Adani Group.

Leadership Roles Across PepsiCo and Amazon

Earlier in her career, Kapoor spent more than three years at PepsiCo, where she led HR transformation, people operations, and capability development initiatives focused on improving workforce experience and operational efficiency.

Before PepsiCo, she spent over seven years at Amazon in multiple HR leadership roles, including Global Service Delivery Hub Leader – HR Services.

During her tenure at Amazon, she led:

  • Large-scale HR transformation programmes
  • AI-powered HR initiatives
  • Diversity and inclusion programs
  • Employer branding strategies
  • Organisational restructuring projects
  • Global workforce expansion initiatives

Her earlier experience also includes leadership roles at American Express and Infovision India Pvt Ltd.

Kapoor holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification and has completed an Executive HR Management Programme from Indian Institute of Management Indore.
