Darpg Meeting Discusses Best Practices in Service Delivery and Technology Adoption with State RTS Commissioners

The DARPG convened a meeting with Right To Services Chief Commissioners/ Commissioners of Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Assam, Rajasthan and Meghalaya to discuss the best practices in service delivery and adoption of technology.

The following best practices were presented

1. Auto Appeal System of Government of Haryana by Shri T.C.Gupta RTS Chief Commissioner of Haryana

2. The Raj Sampark 181 call centre of Government of Rajasthan by Dr G.K.Sharma Senior General Manager of Department of Information Technology Rajasthan

3. The Bihar Prasahasanik Sudhar Mission Society’s implementation of RTS, Right to PG Acts and RTPS portal as also multiple call centres by Dr B Rajender Additional Chief Secretary Bihar

Shri M.S.Rao RTS Chief Commissioner of Meghalaya, Shri Baldev Singh, RTS Commissioner of Maharashtra, Shri Vijay Kumar Janjua RTS Chief Commissioner of Punjab and Dr Sujoy Thaosen RTS Chief Commissioner of Assam presented their views.

Shri Swadheen S Kshatriya ji former RTS Chief Commissioner of Maharahstra participated in the deliberations and shared his thoughts on the roadmap forward.

The meeting decided to enhance e-service delivery from 74 percent to a saturation level and improve citizen satisfaction by adoption of integrated service delivery portals, promoting greater transparency and accountability.
