Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has appointed Amol Babulal Taori as its new Director (Finance) for a five-year term.
Taori joins POWERGRID from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), where he was serving as Executive Director (International Trade). His appointment brings extensive experience in finance, corporate management and strategic leadership to the power transmission major.
As Director (Finance), Taori will oversee key financial functions and contribute to POWERGRID’s financial management and strategic growth.
The appointment comes as POWERGRID continues to strengthen its role in India’s evolving power infrastructure landscape, with a focus on expanding transmission capacity and supporting the country’s energy transition.
Taori’s five-year tenure is expected to add further depth to the company’s financial and strategic leadership.
