Shri Alok Tiwari, Additional Member (Bridge), Railway Board, has taken additional charge as Managing Director of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL).
An experienced IRSE officer, Mr. Tiwari brings extensive experience in railway engineering, bridges, construction and major infrastructure projects. His previous assignments include CPM, RVNL, Bengaluru; CAO/C, South East Central Railway; and Principal Executive Director (Bridge), Railway Board.
In his new role, Mr. Tiwari will contribute to the development and execution of freight corridor infrastructure, with a focus on strengthening the safety, reliability and efficiency of freight movement across the country.
DFCCIL plays a key role in transforming India’s logistics ecosystem by improving freight connectivity and operational efficiency. Under Tiwari’s leadership, the organisation is expected to continue its focus on infrastructure development, technological advancement and operational excellence.
