Amber Dubey has taken charge as Chief Executive Officer Aviation at Adani Airport Holdings, assuming responsibility for shaping and executing the group’s airport and aviation strategy during a period of rapid expansion across India.
In his new role, Amber will oversee airport operations, capacity development, and strategic growth initiatives across Adani’s airport network. His mandate includes strengthening operational efficiency, building future-ready aviation infrastructure, and supporting long-term value creation across the aviation business.
Before joining Adani Airport Holdings, Amber Dubey was associated with McKinsey and Company as a Senior Advisor, where he supported strategic initiatives across infrastructure and aviation. His professional journey also includes significant public-sector leadership experience, having served as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.
In addition, he served as Acting Vice Chancellor of the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, contributing to policy development, institutional governance, and capacity building within the aviation education ecosystem. His work at the university focused on aligning academic frameworks with industry requirements.
Earlier in his career, Amber spent several years at KPMG India as Partner and Head of Aviation and Defence. In this role, he advised governments, airport operators, and aviation stakeholders on policy formulation, infrastructure development, and sector transformation initiatives.
