Deloitte India has strengthened its footprint in Uttar Pradesh by launching a new office in the state capital, reinforcing its commitment to supporting UP’s vision of becoming a US$1 trillion economy by 2030. This expansion follows the inauguration of its Noida office last year.
During the inauguration, Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh highlighted the state’s growing appeal as a global investment hub, attributing its success to business-friendly policies, a skilled workforce, and robust infrastructure. “The presence of industry leaders like Deloitte underscores our commitment to fostering innovation, generating employment, and achieving economic excellence,” he stated.
Romal Shetty, CEO of Deloitte South Asia, emphasized UP’s rapid growth as a key player in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor development, and digital innovation. “With its expanding infrastructure and skilled talent pool, the state offers significant opportunities for businesses and professionals. Deloitte remains committed to supporting this transformation and contributing to India’s economic progress,” he said.
As part of its initial phase, the new establishment is set to create 800-1,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, with further expansion planned over the next five years. Deloitte India will also collaborate with academic institutions and training centers to enhance employability through skill development programs and internships, preparing a workforce ready for industry demands.
