Infosys Unveils Center for Advanced AI, Cybersecurity, and Space Technology at Hubballi Development Center

Infosys has officially inaugurated its Center for Advanced AI, Cybersecurity, and Space Technology at the Hubballi Development Center, Karnataka, marking a bold step towards redefining how industries adopt and scale future technologies.

The new facility is part of Infosys’ global Living Labs network and is designed to serve sectors including manufacturing, retail, finance, and healthcare. With an AI-first approach, the center will focus on delivering innovative, scalable, and real-world solutions to address complex industry challenges.

Speaking at the launch, Shri M. B. Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, said, “This milestone not only creates vital employment opportunities but also strengthens industry-academia collaboration.”

The inauguration coincides with Infosys surpassing 1,000 employees in Hubballi, further cementing the city’s role in India’s digital growth story.

Shri Priyank Kharge, Hon’ble Minister for Electronics, IT & BT, remarked, “The inauguration of this new Living Lab is a testament to North Karnataka’s emergence as a regional innovation hub.”

Sunil Kumar Dhareshwar, EVP, Infosys, added, “With state-of-the-art infrastructure and an AI-first approach, this center will help us solve complex client challenges and drive innovation at scale.”
