The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Lav Aggarwal, IAS, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
In his new role, Shri Aggarwal will be responsible for assisting in policy formulation, program implementation, and strengthening institutional mechanisms focused on the welfare, protection, and empowerment of women and children. His leadership and administrative experience are expected to bring further efficiency and effectiveness to the Ministry’s flagship schemes and initiatives.
The appointment underlines the Government’s continued commitment to advancing gender equality, child welfare, and inclusive social development through strong administrative leadership.
