Rishi Awasthi has taken on the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund (ABSLMF), bringing extensive experience in information security, technology risk and governance to the organisation.
Before this appointment, Awasthi served as Lead – Governance, Risk & Compliance and Data Security at Aditya Birla Capital. His professional experience also includes roles at RSM India, Willis Towers Watson, Deloitte India and Tata Consultancy Services.
With expertise spanning information security, technology risk, governance, compliance and data security, Awasthi brings a background relevant to strengthening security frameworks and managing technology-related risks in the financial services sector.
As cyber threats and regulatory requirements continue to evolve, information security leadership remains critical for financial institutions to protect sensitive data, maintain compliance and strengthen organisational resilience.
Awasthi’s appointment marks a new chapter in his career as he takes on the responsibility of leading information security at Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund.
