“Digital mapping and geospatial technology company MapmyIndia has elevated Rohan Verma to the position of Joint Managing Director, effective July 1, 2026.
Verma has been associated with MapmyIndia since 2004 and has been closely involved in the company’s technology and product evolution. While pursuing his undergraduate studies at Stanford University, he conceptualized and launched MapmyIndia.com, laying the foundation for what would become one of India’s leading digital mapping and location technology platforms.
Over the years, he has contributed to the company’s growth across mapping technologies, geospatial intelligence, and deep-tech innovation, helping expand its portfolio of products and solutions for enterprises, governments, and consumers.
Commenting on the leadership transition, Rakesh Verma, Chairman and Managing Director of MapmyIndia, said the company will continue to focus on advancing its AI-native technologies and next-generation deep-tech solutions under the strengthened leadership team.
