Salesforce has announced the elevation of Mankiran Chowhan as Managing Director for Sales and Distribution, India. In her new role, Chowhan will spearhead Salesforce’s go-to-market strategy and sales operations in the Indian market, further driving the company’s growth and customer success initiatives.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Chowhan reflected on her journey at Salesforce and highlighted the guiding belief that continues to shape her work: “We bring our customers closer to theirs.”
“This was my week 1 takeaway when I joined Salesforce 3.5 years ago — and this belief has only grown stronger since. Whether it’s enabling AI-powered productivity, hyper-personalized experiences that fuel growth, or turning data into real-time actionable insights — our unified platform has consistently helped customers unlock real-world value,” she wrote.
Prior to this elevation, Chowhan served as Vice President and Business Head – Financial Services and Consumer Industries (FCI) at Salesforce from February 2024 to July 2025. Before that, she was Vice President, Enterprise Business – India between February 2022 and January 2024, where she played a key role in scaling Salesforce’s presence among enterprise customers.
Her career spans senior leadership positions across global technology companies. She previously served as Managing Director – India at SAP Concur (2019–2022) and as Managing Vice President and Country Manager – Sales, India at Gartner (2015–2018), where she drove sales operations and client growth strategies.
Chowhan’s elevation reflects Salesforce’s commitment to deepening its footprint in India and enabling enterprises to harness the power of AI, data, and CRM to deliver customer success at scale.
