Sandeep Srivastava has taken charge as Head – Project Procurement & Contracts (Civil), Contract Management, and Business Development Support at GMR Group, assuming responsibility for key procurement and contract functions across the group’s infrastructure and airport projects.
In this leadership role, Sandeep Srivastava will oversee strategic project procurement, contract governance, and business development support, with a focus on strengthening procurement frameworks, ensuring contractual compliance, and driving efficiency across large-scale infrastructure programs. His mandate also includes supporting cost optimization initiatives, procurement consolidation, and policy development at the group level.
Sandeep brings extensive experience in managing large-scale EPC and Capex procurement, with strong expertise in contract management, supply chain optimization, and execution governance across complex, multi-project environments. His appointment is expected to further enhance operational discipline and value creation across GMR Group’s infrastructure portfolio.
Prior to assuming this role, he held senior positions at GMR Airports, GMR Corporate, and GMR Energy Limited, where he contributed to critical procurement and contract management initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked with Jindal Power Limited, Adani Power (Adani Group), Everest Industries Limited, and JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., building deep capabilities across the power, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.
With his broad cross-sector experience and strong leadership credentials, Sandeep Srivastava’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen governance, efficiency, and execution excellence across GMR Group’s project ecosystem.
