Zscaler has appointed Sanjay Yadave as Senior Vice President – Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), expanding his leadership responsibilities as the company focuses on the region’s growing demand for cybersecurity solutions in the AI era.
Yadave has been elevated from his previous role as Vice President & Managing Director, Greater Asia, where he led the business for the past two years. In his new role, he will oversee Zscaler’s operations across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Southeast Asia, South Korea and Greater China, with responsibility for business strategy, investments and regional team growth.
Since joining Zscaler in 2024, Yadave has contributed to the company’s expansion across Greater Asia, including strengthening its presence in South Korea, Indonesia and the Philippines, expanding data centre offerings and establishing a new office in Singapore. With more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Yadave has previously held senior leadership positions at VMware, Amazon Web Services and BT, where he worked across major Asia Pacific markets and led large regional teams.
In his new APJ role, Yadave will focus on accelerating Zscaler’s growth as enterprises across the region increasingly adopt AI and agentic AI, while addressing the associated requirements around security, governance and trusted access.
The appointment reinforces Zscaler’s focus on APJ as a key growth region and its broader strategy to help enterprises securely adopt AI technologies.
