Sarvam AI has appointed Sashikumar Sreedharan, former Managing Director of Google Cloud India, as its President & Chief Business Officer (CBO), strengthening the company’s leadership as it accelerates its enterprise and sovereign AI ambitions.
Sreedharan recently stepped down from his leadership role at Google Cloud India and brings extensive experience from senior positions at Microsoft India and Happiest Minds Technologies.
At Sarvam AI, he will focus on driving enterprise growth, strategic partnerships, business expansion, and large-scale AI adoption across enterprises and government organisations.
His appointment comes at an important stage in Sarvam AI’s growth journey as the company continues to strengthen its position in India’s AI ecosystem and advance its focus on sovereign AI solutions.
With his experience across cloud, technology and enterprise businesses, Sreedharan is expected to play a key role in expanding Sarvam AI’s market presence and building strategic relationships as organisations increasingly adopt AI at scale.
