Sayed Akram Ali has been appointed Vice President – Revenue for Middle East and South Asia at SPORTFIVE, strengthening the company’s leadership across two strategically important markets. Based in Dubai, he will lead revenue growth, build partnerships, and drive commercial expansion across the region.
In his new role, Ali will focus on sponsorship sales, strategic alliances, and new business opportunities across SPORTFIVE’s sports portfolio. His appointment comes as the company continues to deepen its presence across high-growth markets in the Middle East and South Asia.
Ali brings with him extensive experience across the sports, media, and entertainment sectors. Before joining SPORTFIVE, he served as Executive Vice President at TCM Sports, where he was involved in business development and growth strategy.
Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles at Viacom18, Sony Pictures Networks India, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, and Star Sports, where he worked extensively in sponsorships, strategic partnerships, and sports business development. He also began his professional journey with American Express and UB Group, building a strong foundation in client management and commercial strategy.
With his strong background in revenue generation and sports marketing, Ali is expected to play a key role in strengthening SPORTFIVE’s commercial momentum across the Middle East and South Asia.
