Shreyas Mehrotra Takes Charge as CMO and Head of Digital Sales at Airtel Business

Airtel Business has expanded the leadership mandate of Shreyas Mehrotra, who has taken charge as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Head of Digital Sales, while continuing to oversee marketing for Nxtra by Airtel and Airtel Digital (Xtelify). The move reflects Airtel Business’ focus on strengthening its enterprise marketing strategy and scaling digital-led sales channels.

In his enhanced role, Mehrotra will be responsible for driving integrated marketing initiatives, accelerating digital sales growth, and building stronger alignment between product innovation and customer engagement across enterprise, cloud, and digital platforms. His leadership is expected to play a key role in expanding Airtel Business’ presence in enterprise communications and digital services.

Since joining Airtel in 2018, Mehrotra has contributed significantly to major B2C and B2B product launches and has been closely involved in growing Airtel’s cloud and digital offerings. He has also led initiatives to apply data and generative AI tools to improve marketing effectiveness and speed to market. With his expanded responsibilities, Airtel Business aims to further strengthen its market positioning and customer reach.
