U-WIN Portal Achieves 11.87 Crore Child and 3.96 Crore Pregnant Women Registrations

India’s U-WIN portal has registered 11.87 crore children and 3.96 crore pregnant women as of March 18, 2026, digitising the world’s largest immunisation programme serving 2.67 crore newborns and 3 crore mothers annually with free vaccines against 12 diseases. Union Minister Anupriya Patel shared the milestone in the Rajya Sabha.
Mirroring Co-WIN’s COVID success, U-WIN delivers QR-coded e-certificates, SMS reminders, and multilingual scheduling across 1.2 lakh+ vaccination sites integrated with ABHA IDs and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Over 25 crore doses administered digitally reflect 95% routine vaccine coverage, including BCG, measles, DPT, and polio.
State-level dashboards monitor coverage gaps, cold chain performance, and adverse events supporting Mission Indradhanush catch-up campaigns. The platform sustains polio-free status and advances diphtheria elimination amid measles threats.
