The Government of Odisha has announced the transfer and appointment of Shri Rehan Khatri, IAS (Odisha cadre, 2021 batch), as Commissioner – Sambalpur Municipal Corporation. He was previously serving as Sub-Collector, Titilagarh.
In his new role, Shri Khatri will be responsible for urban governance, municipal service delivery, infrastructure development, and civic administration in Sambalpur. His focus will include enhancing urban amenities, implementing smart city initiatives, and ensuring efficient citizen-centric services for the residents of the corporation area.
A young and dynamic officer, Shri Khatri has already earned recognition for his proactive approach to administration and his commitment to transparency, innovation, and public welfare. His leadership is expected to further accelerate Sambalpur’s growth as an emerging urban hub in Odisha.
