The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has announced the transfer and appointment of Shri Naveen S L, IAS (AGMUT cadre, 2012 batch), as Secretary – Civil Aviation Department, with additional charge of Commissioner – Civil Aviation. He was previously serving as Secretary, Transport Department.
In his new role, Shri Naveen S L will oversee policy planning, infrastructure development, and operational coordination in the civil aviation sector of Jammu & Kashmir, with a focus on improving connectivity, enhancing passenger services, and facilitating tourism and trade.
Known for his efficient administrative style and commitment to public service, Shri Naveen S L has held multiple leadership positions in governance, contributing to transport management, infrastructure growth, and citizen service delivery. His appointment to this crucial role is expected to strengthen the Union Territory’s aviation framework and support its broader economic development goals.
