Bringing More Than Three Decades of Industry Experience
Prior to joining Religare Housing Finance, Pavan K. Gupta served as Chief Executive Officer of Muthoot Housing Finance Company Limited, where he led the organization’s transformation into a nationally scaled housing finance institution.
During his tenure, he drove branch expansion, strengthened governance, improved portfolio quality, diversified liabilities, accelerated affordable housing finance, and built a digitally enabled operating model focused on long-term sustainable growth.

Before Muthoot Housing Finance, Gupta held several senior leadership positions at DHFL, where he served as Business Head – Home Loans & Head – International Business, leading multi-region mortgage businesses with full P&L responsibility.
His career also includes leadership roles at Deutsche Postbank Home Finance Limited, Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited, BHW Birla Home Finance Ltd., Home Trust Housing Finance Company Limited, and SBI Home Finance Limited.
Across these organizations, he has led business expansion, portfolio growth, risk management, governance, customer acquisition, and operational excellence initiatives.
