Niraj Nikunj has been promoted to the position of Director at the Government e Marketplace (GeM), marking a significant milestone in his professional journey with the Government of India’s national public procurement platform.
Nikunj shared the update through a LinkedIn post, expressing his happiness on taking up the new role. Prior to his promotion, he was associated with GeM in leadership responsibilities focused on business services, contributing to the platform’s procurement ecosystem and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
With extensive experience in retail operations, category management, merchandising, and e-commerce, Nikunj has worked across both the private and public sectors. His expertise spans large-format retail, digital commerce, and government procurement, enabling him to contribute to the growth and evolution of GeM’s digital marketplace.
