Akriti Sagar, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, has taken charge as Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC), according to an announcement shared by Tourism India.
In her new role, Sagar will lead the corporation, which plays a role in supporting tourism infrastructure and hospitality services across Jammu and Kashmir. JKTDC contributes to the region’s tourism ecosystem through its tourism-related facilities and services.
The appointment comes as Jammu and Kashmir continues to focus on strengthening its tourism sector, improving visitor experiences and promoting destinations across the Union Territory.
