Arun Kumar joins Deloitte India as VP – Talent Acquisition

Deloitte India has appointed Arun Kumar as Vice President – Talent Acquisition, a strategic role aimed at bolstering the firm’s hiring capabilities amid rapid expansion in consulting, technology, and advisory services. Based in Bengaluru, Kumar will lead recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and employer branding to attract high‑caliber talent for Deloitte’s diverse business lines.
Kumar arrives with more than 25 years of recruitment and talent management experience. Most recently, he served as Vice President – Client Services and Site Head – Bengaluru at Magnit, where he oversaw client delivery and workforce services. His prior roles include Director – Talent Acquisition at Zinnov, Head – RPO/MSP Operations India at Randstad Enterprise, VP and Lead – Talent Acquisition (Technology) at Standard Chartered Bank, and senior positions at Resource Solutions, EXL, and FIS.
A commerce graduate from Delhi University with a postgraduate qualification in Marketing from the All India Management Association (AIMA), Kumar has demonstrated expertise in building recruitment operations, managing large‑scale technology hiring programs, and scaling talent functions for global clients. At Deloitte, he will focus on creating recruitment frameworks that support the firm’s growth trajectory while enhancing its employer brand in competitive talent markets.
The appointment underscores Deloitte India’s emphasis on strengthening its people‑strategy to sustain business momentum.
