Col Shekhar Attri, SM (Retd) appointed as APAC Regional Security Leader at Collins Aerospace

Colonel Shekhar Attri, Sena Medal (Retd), has been appointed APAC Regional Security Leader at Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies business. The appointment marks a strategic addition to the company’s leadership bench in the Asia‑Pacific region, with a mandate to oversee and strengthen security architecture, risk‑governance, and cyber‑physical resilience across Collins Aerospace’s APAC operations.
In this role, Col Attri will lead the design and execution of enterprise‑wide security strategies tailored to Collins Aerospace’s aerospace, defence, and advanced‑technology portfolio in the region. His responsibilities include aligning physical, cyber, and operational‑security frameworks with regulatory and industry‑standard requirements, enhancing incident‑response readiness, and working closely with business‑unit leaders and partners to embed security‑by‑design principles into product development and deployment. The position is critical as Collins Aerospace continues to scale advanced avionics, communications, and mission‑systems programmes across APAC markets.
Col Shekhar Attri brings a distinguished background in defence and security, having served in the Indian Army before retiring as a Colonel. During his military service, he led multiple high‑stakes security and operational‑planning assignments, building hands‑on experience in threat‑risk assessment, layered security‑integration, and crisis‑response coordination. His post‑retirement career has focused on strategic security‑advisory and enterprise‑risk‑management roles, giving him a rare blend of operational‑domain expertise and corporate‑context understanding.
