Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced the appointment of Bhawna Agarwal as the new Senior Vice President and Managing Director for its India operations. Agarwal, who previously served as HPE India’s Country Head for Strategy & Growth, brings extensive experience in driving digital transformation and strategic growth initiatives.
In her previous role, Agarwal focused on empowering small and medium businesses (SMBs) to leverage cloud solutions for digital advancement. She emphasized the importance of IT investments as force multipliers for SMBs, facilitating their digital transformation journeys.
Agarwal’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for HPE India, as the company expands its “Make in India” initiative. In partnership with VVDN Technologies, HPE has commenced large-scale deployment of its “Made in India” servers, manufactured at a state-of-the-art facility in Manesar, Haryana. This initiative aims to produce approximately $1 billion worth of high-volume servers over the next five years, catering to the growing demands of Indian customers.
With over 14,000 employees, India represents HPE’s largest workforce outside the United States. The company’s Mahadevapura campus in Bengaluru serves as a global hub for product development and innovation. HPE’s continued investments in India underscore its commitment to supporting the country’s digital transformation and economic growth.
Bhawna Agarwal’s leadership is expected to further strengthen HPE’s presence in India, driving innovation and fostering partnerships across various sectors.
