IAS officer Rahul, Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran, has become the youngest District Collector in Punjab.
A 2017-batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre, Rahul was born in 1993 and currently serves as the Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran district. His achievement marks a significant milestone in his administrative career.
Since joining the Indian Administrative Service, Rahul has served in various administrative roles, contributing to governance and public service. As Deputy Commissioner, he oversees district administration, implementation of government schemes, and coordination of developmental initiatives.
His distinction as Punjab’s youngest District Collector highlights the growing presence of young civil servants in key leadership positions, reflecting the increasing responsibility entrusted to the new generation of IAS officers in public administration.
