Krishnamohan Kandar has taken on an expanded role as Vice President – Cybersecurity at CRIF India, following nearly four years as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of CRIF Credit Information Services.
Kandar joined CRIF as Cyber Security Manager and subsequently progressed through leadership positions including Associate Vice President & CISO and Vice President & CISO. During his tenure, he has worked across cybersecurity and technology functions while increasingly aligning security strategy with broader business priorities.
In his new regional role, Kandar will oversee cybersecurity responsibilities across multiple geographies and business operations, bringing a broader perspective to CRIF’s security and risk agenda.
He has credited his years at CRIF with helping him evolve from a technology-focused professional into a more business-oriented cybersecurity leader. Sanjay Nair has taken over the CISO responsibilities at CRIF Credit Information Services following Kandar’s transition.
Kandar’s elevation marks another step in his leadership journey and comes as organisations increasingly place cybersecurity at the centre of business resilience, digital transformation and enterprise risk management.
