Mandar Ghatnekar Takes on New Leadership Role at Biocon Biologics

Mandar Ghatnekar has announced a new role at Biocon Biologics, where he serves as Global Head of IT & Digital Transformation. This transition underscores his continued leadership in driving technology-enabled growth within the biopharmaceutical sector.
Ghatnekar brings extensive experience leading IT advisory and consulting engagements across clinical development, drug safety, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and commercial operations. He has managed major post-merger IT integrations and overseen delivery groups exceeding 4,000 FTEs for clients across North America, Europe, and India.
Previously, he held the position of Managing Director at Accenture from 2014 to 2021, where he led the Salesforce.com delivery group for North American clients from India. His technical background includes process technology development for enzymes and biomolecules, positioning him to transform IT functions into strategic business enablers.
At Biocon Biologics, Ghatnekar has been elevated to the executive leadership team, focusing on innovative technology adoption and transformative digital initiatives that support the company’s global operations and commercial objectives.
