Raj Kumar DANICS Takes Charge as Special Secretary, GAD, GNCTD

The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has appointed Raj Kumar, DANICS, as Special Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), as part of a recent administrative reshuffle involving IAS and DANICS officers.

A 1995-batch DANICS officer, Raj Kumar was awaiting posting before being assigned the new responsibility. His appointment places him in a key administrative position within the Delhi Government, where the General Administration Department handles important matters relating to government administration and personnel management.

The reshuffle has brought changes across several departments, including Urban Development, Finance, Home, Environment and Forest, Education, Food Safety and Municipal administration. Raj Kumar’s posting is among the changes aimed at realigning responsibilities across the Delhi administration.

As Special Secretary, GAD, Kumar will contribute to the department’s administrative functions and coordination, adding his experience in government service to the senior leadership structure of the GNCTD.

His new assignment marks another significant responsibility in his administrative career and comes as the Delhi Government continues to reorganise key portfolios and strengthen its administrative framework.
