With over two decades of experience in information security, cyber risk management, and IT governance, Mr. Bhalerao brings deep industry knowledge and strategic leadership to the bank’s cybersecurity initiatives. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening the bank’s cyber defense infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and safeguarding customer data against emerging digital threats.
Prior to joining Central Bank of India, Mr. Bhalerao held key leadership roles across prominent financial institutions and IT firms, where he successfully led various cyber resilience and digital security programs.
