Raksha Mantri Hails Indian Army Training Institutes for Excellence in Warfare Strategies and Skills

In a recent visit to Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh praised the Indian Army’s training institutions for their vital role in sharpening the military strategies and warfare expertise of personnel. On December 29, 2024, accompanied by Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi and senior army officers, the Raksha Mantri toured three prestigious training institutes: the Army War College (AWC), Infantry School, and Military College of Telecommunication & Engineering (MCTE).

During his visit, Shri Rajnath Singh was briefed on the establishment of the Advanced Incubation & Research Centre and its collaborative efforts through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at integrating advanced technologies into military operations. He also visited the Army Marksmanship Unit, highlighting their contribution to national sports, and the Infantry Museum, where he gained insight into the history of the Infantry and its modernisation.

Addressing personnel at AWC, the Raksha Mantri lauded their bravery and vigilance in securing the nation’s borders. “Your dedication and devotion to duty inspire all of us. It is because of your tireless efforts that India’s borders remain secure and stronger every day,” he remarked.

Shri Rajnath Singh further urged the Armed Forces to remain vigilant and prepared for evolving geopolitical challenges. He stressed the importance of staying alert to both external and internal threats, ensuring timely action against adversaries.

Highlighting the vision of a self-reliant and developed India by 2047, the Raksha Mantri emphasized the critical role the Armed Forces will play in achieving this goal. “You are the protectors of our borders and essential contributors to nation-building. Your courage and commitment will help us realise the vision of Viksit Bharat,” he said.

Earlier, Shri Rajnath Singh paid homage at the Bhim Janm Bhoomi memorial in Mhow, honoring Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, and praised his life of selfless service and dedication to social equality and empowerment.
