Ritika Chopra Appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at JSW Paints and JSW Dulux

Ritika Chopra has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for JSW Paints and JSW Dulux, taking on a key leadership role as the two businesses integrate following the acquisition of Akzo Nobel India Limited. In this role, she will lead the overall people strategy, drive cultural alignment, and support the combined organisation’s growth ambitions in India’s competitive paint and coatings market.
Chopra brings extensive HR experience across consumer, retail, and technology‑driven businesses. She joins the CHRO role from her position as Head – Human Resources at JSW Paints, and has previously held senior HR leadership roles at Purplle.com (CPG business), Amazon (APAC and MEA, including Prime Video India), Pantaloons, and the Aditya Birla Group.[1][3] She began her career with internships at Intel Corporation and Serum Institute of India Limited and holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Fergusson College.
Her appointment comes as JSW aims to combine JSW Paints’ fast‑growth momentum with the long‑standing brand equity of Dulux, building a unified, performance‑oriented culture across the merged entity. In her CHRO capacity, Chopra will focus on organisational integration, talent retention, employee‑value‑proposition enhancement, and strengthening HR systems that support scalable, sustainable growth.
